𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗚 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗣 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗜

Yesterday at 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗶, where one of the young preachers is sharing God’s Word during Fiji for Christ, young people took an active role in conducting the service. It was a powerful picture of what can happen when the Church gives the next generation opportunities to serve, lead and participate in God’s mission.

Young people should not only be seen as the future of the Church. They are part of the Church and its mission today. When they are taught the Word of God, mentored by experienced leaders and trusted with responsibility, they can become powerful witnesses for Christ in their generation.

Paul’s words to young Timothy remain relevant:

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

What happened at Wainadoi should challenge every church: 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻?

𝗧𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵: identify them, train them, mentor them, give them opportunities and pray over them. Let them preach. Let them lead. Let them serve. Let them experience the joy of bringing others to Jesus.
