Thirty Baptized as Delaivuna Pocket Meeting Concludes

The Delaivuna pocket meeting concluded on Sabbath after two weeks of nightly evangelistic meetings, with strong attendance throughout the series. As the second week progressed, additional shelters were built to accommodate the growing number of people attending, as the church building could no longer hold the crowd.

The meetings were presented by Elder Ulaiasi Dauvunau, whose messages attracted many young people from the opening night through to the final meeting. Their consistent attendance reflected a growing interest in the gospel.

Due to the increasing number of people requesting Bible studies and continuing to attend the meetings, the evangelistic series at Delaivuna and Vuna has been extended for another week. This will provide an opportunity to nurture these new interests and prepare them for the main Fiji for Christ harvest program, which will be held at Vuna Village from August 16–29.

By God’s grace, 30 precious souls were baptized during the series. All praise and glory belong to God for the lives that have been transformed through His Word.
