Education Excellence for Eternity

The Wainadoi Seventh-day Adventist Church was filled with joy and unity as it hosted a combined worship service for members of the Hilltop and Vunisoco churches. The special highlight of the day was the participation of the Wainadoi SDA Kindergarten students, along with their parents and guardians, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that filled the church both inside and outside.

Remarkably, about 85% of those in attendance were non-Adventists, who came to support their children and witness the school’s program. This made the occasion not only a celebration of education but also a meaningful opportunity for outreach and community connection.

The service featured a powerful message from Mr. Josevata Sumo, Fiji Mission Education Director, who spoke on the theme “Education Excellence for Eternity.” Drawing from Deuteronomy 6:6-7, he emphasized the vital role of parents and families in nurturing children in faith and guiding them to know and love God in their daily lives.

This Education Sabbath became a memorable and spiritual experience for Wainadoi Church families and all who attended, strengthening the bond between the church, the school, and the wider community.
