Hope Channel Fiji is strengthening its connection with church members in the Northern Region by bringing television production directly to Vanua Levu, creating new opportunities for local members to participate in sharing the Gospel through media.
Over the years, geographical distance and limited access to production facilities have made it challenging for members in Vanualevu to contribute to locally produced programmes. This week, Hope Channel Fiji is addressing that challenge by taking its production team to communities across the Northern Region.
The team has already conducted recordings in 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝘂𝘀𝗮𝘃𝘂 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘃𝘂 and is currently recording at 𝗕𝗲𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵. Production activities will continue in 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗮 over the coming days before the team concludes its Northern Region visit.
The initiative provides an opportunity for local church members to contribute their voices, experiences and talents to programmes that will be shared through Hope Channel Fiji, helping ensure that the stories and perspectives of Northern communities are represented in the Church’s media ministry.
𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗙𝗶𝗷𝗶 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮, expressed his gratitude to Fiji Mission Administration and church members for their continued support and participation in producing local Christian content.
He acknowledged the importance of working together to create programmes that communicate the message of Jesus and encourage more members to become actively involved in media evangelism.
Mr. Namana also requested continued prayers for the production team as they travel and record across Vanua Levu, asking that God guide their work and bless the programmes being developed.
The Northern Region production initiative reflects Hope Channel Fiji’s commitment to making media ministry more accessible to local churches and ensuring that members across Fiji have opportunities to contribute to sharing the Gospel.
