The Nadi District of the Seventh-day Adventist Church marked its 75th anniversary during today’s Pathfinder and Adventurer Fair, bringing together 13 Pathfinder and Adventurer clubs to celebrate the district’s history, youth development and Christian fellowship.

A significant moment during the celebration was the presentation of a flag by Fiji Mission Youth Director, 𝗣𝗿. 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝘂𝗶, to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗴𝗶, daughter of the late 𝗠𝗿. 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗸𝘂, who accepted the Seventh-day Adventist faith in Nadi. The presentation recognised the district’s spiritual heritage and the contribution of those who embraced the Adventist message in its earlier years.

The anniversary provided an opportunity for church members and young people to reflect on 75 years of Adventist history in Nadi, honouring the faith and commitment of earlier generations while encouraging today’s youth to continue the mission.

Throughout the fair, Pathfinders and Adventurers showcased the knowledge, skills and practical lessons gained through their club activities. Participants expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to demonstrate their learning and strengthen friendships with fellow club members.

The gathering also promoted unity and togetherness among the 13 clubs, bringing young people, leaders and church members together in celebration of their shared faith and commitment to service.

As Nadi District commemorates this milestone, the celebration serves as a reminder that the faith embraced by earlier generations continues to be passed on to young people through the ministry of Adventurers and Pathfinders.
