More International Speakers Welcomed for Fiji for Christ

The Fiji for Christ Meet and Greet Team, together with Fiji Mission President Pr Epeli Saukuru, welcomed and greeted several more international speakers arriving in Fiji today.

Among the arrivals were iTaukei church members living overseas who have responded to the call to return home and serve as part of the mission teams supporting preachers at various Fiji for Christ evangelistic sites across the country. Their willingness to return and participate in the work of sharing the gospel has been warmly appreciated.

The team was also blessed to welcome Pastor Andrew Opis, President of the Western Highlands Mission in Papua New Guinea, and his wife. The couple were transiting through Nadi on their way to Samoa, where Pr. Opis will be preaching during the Samoa for Christ evangelistic programme.

As the Papua New Guinea preachers continued their journey towards Suva, Pr. Saukuru met with them at Yadua. He took the opportunity to personally thank them for answering the call to serve in Fiji, encouraged them for the mission ahead, and offered a prayer over them before they continued their journey.

The Fiji Mission also sincerely acknowledges the Saukuru family for opening their home in Sabeto Village and providing accommodation and hospitality for the visiting preachers.

We thank God for the spirit of cooperation and service being demonstrated as preparations continue for Fiji for Christ. Appreciation is also extended to the Meet and Greet Team, Protocol Officers, Ministers, families and volunteers for their continued prayers, support and collective efforts.
