Pastor Gary Kent Arrives Early to Join Fiji for Christ Preparations

International evangelist Pastor Gary Kent and his wife have arrived in Fiji ahead of Fiji for Christ 2026, ready to work alongside local church members in the final days of preparation for the nationwide evangelistic campaign.

Pastor Kent’s early arrival is intentional. Rather than waiting for the meetings to begin, he plans to spend the coming week working with church members to connect with people in the community, nurture existing interests, and encourage them to attend Fiji for Christ.

For Pastor Kent, the mission begins before the first sermon is preached. He is looking forward to meeting Pastor Sakeo and the local team and getting “straight to work” as they prepare together for the campaign.

The week leading up to Fiji for Christ will provide an important opportunity for visitation, personal invitations and connecting with individuals who have shown an interest in learning more about the Bible and Jesus.

Pastor Kent and his wife join many visiting speakers, local pastors, church leaders and members who are preparing to serve across Fiji during the campaign.

With Fiji for Christ beginning on August 16, the focus now turns to prayer, personal connection and invitation. Church members across Fiji are encouraged to continue reaching out to their families, friends and communities and invite them to be part of the meetings.
