Grace SDA Church’s First Ever Vacation Bible School

With thankful hearts, we praise God for the successful completion of Grace SDA Church’s first ever Vacation Bible School.

This special program was a clear reminder of God’s leading and faithfulness. What started as a simple idea after the Tebara Children’s Ministry One-Day Workshop became a beautiful opportunity to reach the children in the community.

After the workshop, some church members felt inspired to do something for the children. They were not Sabbath School teachers, but they were willing to serve. With faith, love, and commitment, they organized and ran a five-day Vacation Bible School program.

From the first day, we saw God’s blessing. More than 18 children from non-Adventist families came to join the program. They came with joy, excitement, and open hearts to learn more about Jesus.

During the week, the children enjoyed Bible stories, songs, crafts, games, and other activities. Each part of the program helped them understand that God loves them and cares for them.

The smiles on their faces and their eagerness to learn showed us that God was touching their hearts. This VBS was not only a blessing to the children, but also to the volunteers. Their faith grew as they saw how God guided the program each day.

We give all glory and praise to God for making this first VBS a success. We also thank the organizers, volunteers, parents, church members, and everyone who supported this ministry through prayer, encouragement, and service.

This experience has taught us that small beginnings can bring great blessings when placed in God’s hands. We pray that the seeds planted in the hearts of these children will continue to grow and lead them and their families closer to Jesus.

As Grace SDA Church looks back on this special event, we look forward to more opportunities to share God’s love with the children in our community.
