President Message

A very warm and sincere greetings to all our members, families, local churches and institutions in our Fiji Mission of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. I am humbled to accept God’s appointment through the Trans Pacific Union Mission and the confidence they have in me to be your servant for the next quinquennium 2021-2025.

We are living in unprecedented times. This should not surprise or deter us. It validates God’s word, that the Bible is true and we are living in the end time. Jesus is coming again soon “even at the door”. This message of hope in Jesus soon return should be at the heart of our mission and message to all people in Fiji. God’s promised presence “…I am with you always even to the end of the age…” should give us comfort, energy and focus as we proclaim the advent hope and salvation only in Jesus, (Mathew 28:19, 20 NKJV).

As a church we are counselled that “In a special sense Seventh day Adventist have been set in the world as watchmen and light bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining the wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second and third angels messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention. The most solemn truths ever entrusted to mortals have been given to us to proclaim to the world. The proclamation of these truths is to be our work. The world is to be warned, and God’s people are to be true to the trust committed to them…” TC Vol 9 Page 19

We acknowledge God and His leadership in all aspects of His church. We praise Him for the past leaders, administrations, institutions and local church members who have progressed the work of the church in Fiji to where it is today. The strategic plan framework provided by the past administration is invaluable.
