Tebara District Equips Teachers Through Alive in Jesus & VBS Workshop

The Tebara District Children’s Ministry successfully conducted a one-day Alive in Jesus & Vacation Bible School (VBS) Workshop on Sunday, 12 April, at the Nausori Seventh-day Adventist Church. The training was organized to equip teachers in preparation for the upcoming Fiji for Christ mission initiative.

The event was honored by the presence of Mrs. Julia Kabu, the Fiji Mission Children’s and Women’s Ministries Director, who attended as the special guest. Her support and encouragement inspired participants as they committed themselves to nurturing the spiritual growth of children across the district.

Facilitated by the district’s Alive in Jesus Trainers of Trainers, the workshop provided comprehensive sessions for all class levels, from Baby Steps through to Primary. These practical and interactive sessions ensured that teachers are well-prepared to effectively guide children in their faith journey and foster a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Participants expressed gratitude for the valuable training, which strengthened their confidence and renewed their sense of mission. The workshop also emphasized the vital role of children’s ministries in disciple-making as the church prepares for the Fiji for Christ outreach.
