CAKAUDROVE WEST, FIJI | 17 October 2026
Young people gathered at Viani Primary School for the Cakaudrove West Youth Rally, held under the theme βSpeak Lord,β with Fiji Mission Youth Director, Pr. Inia Tui, as the guest speaker.
Addressing the young people, Pr. Inia Tui encouraged them to remain faithful to God even when no one is watching. He emphasised the importance of personal integrity and living a life of faithfulness, not only in public but also in private, where true Christian character is demonstrated.
A key highlight of the rally was a road safety awareness presentation by Land Transport Authority (LTA) Road Safety Education Manager, Ms. Watilala Fonu, under the topic βOne Voice, One Life, One Responsibility.β
Ms. Fonu emphasised the importance of following road rules, making responsible decisions and preventing road accidents. She reminded young people that the choices they make on the road can have life-changing consequences, and that responsible decisions can save lives.
The presentation encouraged young people to take personal responsibility for their safety and the safety of others, recognising that road safety begins with individual choices and actions.
The rally reinforced two important messages: remaining faithful to God in every circumstance and taking responsibility for decisions that affect the lives of others.
