The Fiji Mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church partnered with ADRA Fiji on Friday, 16 October 2026, to conduct a project awareness and beneficiary registration activity involving 30 persons with disabilities and vulnerable households from Seventh-day Adventist churches in the Nadroga District.
The initiative is supported through ADRA Fijiβs Indo-Pacific Flexible Response Fund (IPRFF), under the Multipurpose Cash Transfer (MPTC) component. The programme prioritises eligible persons with disabilities and vulnerable farming households, providing a pathway for assistance to those facing difficult circumstances.
The activity was led by Akanisi Ranadinivugalei, with Karalaini Rokocoko and her team facilitating the programme in collaboration with Fiji Mission President, Pr. Epeli Saukuru, and Nadroga District Minister, Pr. Mesake Lutunaivalu.
Fiji Mission acknowledges the Australian Government for its support towards humanitarian and community development initiatives in Fiji, and expresses its sincere appreciation to ADRA Fiji and the project team for their commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and families.
The partnership demonstrates the Church’s commitment to extending its ministry beyond the walls of the church, responding to practical needs while upholding human dignity and demonstrating Christ’s compassion.
Jesus reminds us in Matthew 25:40:
βInasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.β
Through this partnership, Fiji Mission and ADRA Fiji continue to demonstrate that Christian service is not only about sharing the message of hope but also about responding to the needs of people in our communities.
