15 October 2026The Fiji Mission team today, 13 October 2026, began distributing post-Fiji for Christ nurturing resources to church districts, starting with Naitasiri, Namosi and Navua.
The resources, generously provided as a gift from the Trans Pacific Union Mission, are intended to support local churches in caring for and nurturing newly baptized members following the Fiji for Christ 2026 evangelistic campaign.
The initiative reinforces an important responsibility of the Church: ensuring that every person who has made a decision to follow Jesus is supported beyond baptism through continued spiritual guidance, Bible study, prayer, fellowship and discipleship.
As thousands have publicly committed their lives to Christ through Fiji for Christ, the focus now extends beyond the baptismal waters to helping new believers develop a deeper relationship with God, become firmly established in their faith and grow into active members of the Church.
The nurturing resources will assist pastors, church leaders and members in walking alongside new believers, encouraging them not only to grow spiritually but also to become living witnesses of God’s transforming love in their families and communities.
Fiji Mission acknowledges the Trans Pacific Union Mission for its generosity and continued partnership in strengthening the work of discipleship across Fiji.
The distribution also serves as a reminder that the responsibility of making disciples belongs to the entire Church. Every new believer needs encouragement, every family needs support, and every member has a role in helping others grow in Christ.
